There I sat so full of sorrow
Empty, lonely, no hopes for tomorrow
All my days filled with bitter strife
Hopes You gave me of a fulfilling life
Fallen down, You picked me up
Overwhelmingly You filled my cup
Showing me how great life could be
If only I’d put my trust in Thee
We are learning more and more that He is trustworthy. He is always faithful even when we’re not.

Thank you for those kind words. I’d love to the credit but He has been blessing me with poems lately. And Amen, I would be nothing and nowhere without Him :)

Trust is such an important part of faith! Reminds me of the verse of those who not yet seen but still trust and believe! Thank you for sharing your walk of faith!

Yes it is Rick. Life makes trust seem like an enemy. Everything now-a-days seems to tell us don’t trust anything, people, ourselves, doesn’t it. I feel its another trick to try and eat away at Faith. Since Faith is based on things not seen.

Thank you Maggie, you are too kind to me. He has been blessing me with these little nuggets. I had packed up my notepad last night, and was tearing through everything trying to find a pad and pen. Hubby was cracking up. :) God Bless you :)

You’re welcome ❤ I love getting to read them. I’ve never been good at writing my own poetry, so I love getting to see what other people have written; it’s such a nice treat. Part of me wishes I could be poetic, but I guess it just isn’t part of who He’s created me to be. Haha I’ve done that before; when the inspiration comes, I must be quick to record it! God bless you, Margaret :)

I know lol…was telling hubby hurry up help me find something, if I don’t write it down I will jumble it all up :) I’ve been getting a bunch of them lately. I still have about half a dozen that I haven’t posted yet. It makes me happy that you are enjoying them :)

I’m planning on posting one every few days. I made this blog to post the Bible verses I was texting to friends, so I trying to stay true to that. And there you go bringing me joy again :) with your kind words. I feel the same way about yours. I was getting ready to log out the other day and you popped up with a post. I literally said out loud, yay! Maggie just posted something and told hubby I had to read it, and then I’d log out and we could leave and do whatever it was we were on our way to do :) LOL

That’s wonderful! I’m looking forward to that. You’re so sweet, Margaret. ❤ I’ll also get excited when I see that my favorite blogs have published a new post; as soon as I see one, I immediately go to it! When I saw that you’d posted a new poem a little while ago, my finger (I’m on my phone) immediately clicked, almost like a reflex. lol I’m pretty fast with whatever I do on my phone.
