And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for He is risen, as He said, Come, see the place where the Lord lay. –Matthew 28:5-6

Amen to that. I always gets me when it gets to the scriptures about Jesus being crucified. I know it was for our salvation, but it always gets to me.

Although I don’t like Mel Gibson the scenes of Jesus being tortured and crucified in that movie had me sobbing. I’d never really thought about the extent of the physical suffering He went through.

I never saw that movie but I heard about it from my son. I cry when Peter denies Jesus. I root for him every time. Don’t deny Him, don’t deny Him LOL like I don’t know what’s going to happen but when He does it tears me up and I cry like a baby.

I know! It’s like when I watch movies based on real incidents and try to talk characters out of doing things. Mr. C teases me about it all the time.
