The “old” me..

The “old” me
hidden away, no one could see:

panic attacking
life hijacking
forever wrong
never strong
self hating
inside debating
tears shed
eyes red
nerves throbbing
endless sobbing
tirelessly mad
always sad

It didn’t have to be
God rescued me.

    1. LOL I was just over at you site reading, and saying thanking you for sharing and come back to finish moderating my comments and this one was here. I appreciate the kind words but I can’t take the credit. Of course the verses come from the Bible and God’s been blessing me with the poems :) I appreciate you visiting and being so nice :) God Bless you too!!!

    1. I’m glad you enjoyed it :) but the praise goes to God. No way I could come up with it. He has been blessing me with poems. I really enjoyed your blog! I haven’t had a chance to get to the Army Life section yet. But it is well put together, has great content, and easy to navigate. I have long hair so the hair care section was my first stop. :) Thanks for visiting with me, and sharing God Bless you :)

    1. I’m happy it brought some beauty into your life, Thank God for that Andrew because a poet I am not :) I was shocked myself at what misery I use to be in and how happy the now is. Thank you for visiting Andrew! God Bless you.

    1. I was wanting to write a poem about the new me but I tried and nothing comes. God is truly showing me that He gives me what He wants me to write. I look forward to your blog on the new “me”

    1. Thank you Gene. I go to your blog almost everyday. I kept seeing “Take Care” I’ve been busy the past couple of days, neglecting my blogging(well, not neglecting but not as much time to devote would be more accurate) and you sneak in not one but two posts. Congratulations on your award, can’t believe it’s the first. Vanilla all the way.

      1. You know I had been so busy , just the end of semester hustle bustle . I was a little relaxed and just jumped the train . You cannot program yourself , I think it requires some alignment of stars to post , sometimes I am to negative and tired and then I avoid coming here .

      2. I agree you have to post when you can, want to, and feel like it. My observation was more on the lines that I literally click your blog everyday, except the past couple of days, which of course you posted :)
