Prerna over at besondersite nominated me for the One Lovely Blog award. Thank you Prerna. :) Prerna’s blog is wonderful. It’s full of pictures, stories, challenges, and so much more. I always find something good when I read Prerna’s blog.

7 random facts about me:

  1. I only get my hair cut once a year :)
  2. I love talking to animals. Yes, thats’ right if there is one near me I will talk to it :)
  3. I love hot coffee, not warm, not cold, and not even hot, I want it HOT
  4. I sing in the car :)
  5. I try to work God into every conversation I have. Not a sermon but give Him glory for something. If the person says, I had a great day today, my reply, that is a blessing from God. That’s sort of way :) It’s now a game for me, and I love playing it.
  6. I love tiramisu, it’s my favourite dessert.
  7. I love mowing grass.
  8. I disable all apps on any new smart phone I get.
  9. I love Pilates :)

  2. Congrats Margaret! I love my coffee HOT too, invoking God in almost every conversation is what I also do and tiramisu! That is also my favorite dessert. I just LOVE tiramisu!

    1. I know me either. I keep saying I am going to learn to make it and have found a dozen recipes but still haven’t attempted it yet. Mostly because I am afraid I will make it everyday LOL But when we go anywhere and they start listing the desserts, as soon as tiramisu is said, hubby says, stop right there, that’s what she wants, and no we don’t need 2 forks, she won’t let me have any :):) Which is not true, I always share but he thinks it’s funny. :)

I loved learning more about you. <3 I wish that I was as brave as you to bring up the Lord in conversation like that! I'm not bold enough to say anything really haha, not just about Him. I do love talking about Him online, though :) I do love talking to animals, though! They're so sweet. And I only cut my hair once a year, as well – I love having long hair! But when it gets too long, it ends up weighing my head down hahaha. #thickhairproblems

    1. It’s ok no worries. I know you will always be headed this way at some point in the day. You’ve always been very encouraging and supportive of me and I love you and appreciate you for it :):) I haven’t always known ho to bring Him up but since I’ve started playing my “game” He seems to be putting the opportunities right there for me to grab. Yeah I understand the weight of the hair. I’m over due since I usually get it done in April but haven’t made the time yet. By the way I think you do a great job of talking about and honouring God! :):)

      1. Aww I love you, too <3 That is such a blessing. Maybe one day, He will do the same for me :) haha funny, I always get mine done in late March/early April, too! But this year, I got it cut early (mid-February) because I was getting my driver's license, lol. I wanted my picture to look nice. Aww thank you, Margaret!

    1. Thank you so much Sharon :):) Yeah some pilates aren’t my thing either, they speed it up, and make it more of an aerobic workout but the Windsor and Aero pilates are the ones I enjoy. Those are the more traditional pilates, for stretching and breathing. I love yoga too! I have the Namaste TV videos and alternate with the Pilates.

      1. I’ve found a few Yoga videos on YouTube I like and then I’ve taken a few classes as well. The YouTube videos are super convenient and I have a quick 15 min series I’ve purchased. I can’t remember the name. But I love those because I’m usually on a time crunch. 😊

      2. That’s what I love about the Namaste TV series, it’s about 23 minutes total, with a short warm up, a series of poses, and then the cool down and recenter/meditation. The Windsor is the same but only 20 minutes. I appreciate the tip about youtube. if I need to change mine up I’ll go searching youtube and find some others. :):)

  11. Yes, pilates is wonderful! This was so fun to read – I actually know a few different women who say they really enjoy mowing grass. I should try it sometime – I have three brothers, so I’ve never needed to :)
