The just LORD is in the midst thereof; He will not do iniquity: every morning doth He bring His judgement to light, 20170516_141051He faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame. –Zephaniah 3:5

The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing. –Zephaniah 3:17

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. –John 1:9

And He is propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. –John 2:2

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

That is all God requires of us because He knows we are not capable of much, and He loves us enough to set us up for success.  That is all His Word says if we do this, we shalt be saved.

Everything that is in the Bible, all the rules that people dwell on, study, focus on, try to emulate, and that’s good, we should learn God’s Word…but ALL mean nothing, if, if, if we can’t grasp the full extent of Romans 10:9

Nothing else can save you, nothing.

The only thing, that will save you, God said:

  1. to confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus,
  2. believe it in thine heart that God raised Jesus from the dead.

THOU SHALT BE SAVED. Romans 10:9. Hallelujah!

God doesn’t lie.

If we go ask the One, that we are to confess, our Saviour, our Mediator, that we killed/sacrificed,  and God raised Him back from the dead. Thank you Jesus for Your love for us.

We certainly need it. Thank you God.

Jesus says, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment. Matthew 22:37-38

If you’ve made it this far into this post, take a pause, and ask yourself, do you have these first 3 steps…what’s the word I’m looking for…. not perfected, because we know we will never be perfected.

Working? Would that be the right word? It doesn’t seem big enough. Nothing ever seems big enough when discussing the Almighty. :)

Do you have these 3 steps working, first nature, like blinking? Especially are you loving God:

with all thy heart….with all thy mind…with all thy soul…?

If not, keep practicing.

You can start practicing the last, and final step that the Word, Jesus, says we must, must, must do. I’m sighing here, because, now we have to deal with our neighbours/brothers/sisters. :):)

We have left the realm of the Almighty and us, and entered into the realm of every body elses free will.

After Jesus said, to love God with every fiber of your being, with every thought, with every breath, Jesus said:
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:39-40

Let’s sum up what is most important to God and Jesus according to Their Words:

  1. Confess Jesus
  2. Believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead
  3. love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
  4. Love your neighbour like you love yourself.

God will work out all the other details, if the 4 things listed above are being accomplished. In my case, trying to accomplish. I struggle with 3 and 4 :)

God Bless you :)

Hold thy peace at the presence of the LORD God: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, He hath bid His guests. –Zephaniah 1:7

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  –2 Peter 3:9

The Word – Challenge

The Challenge question on The Word today is:

Is it ok to just rely on what the church, or someone tells you the Bible says?

Thank you for participating :) God bless you :)

For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. –Habakkuk 2:14

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you. –1 Peter 5:6-7

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: IMG_0847Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. –1 Peter 3:8-9

Use hospitality one to another without grudging. –1 Peter 4:9

And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? –1 Peter 4:18

Talking to myself

I talk to myself all the time. Not in a crazy, hearing voices type of way, maybe ;) but like this:

-time to get up
-I need to get ready
-take out something for dinner
-stop by the post office
-pick up bread
-don’t forget to stop by the bank
-I’m hungry LOL

You get the point.

I think every one does it. A constant monologue going on in our heads. It could be things to do, feelings, emotions, lists…anything really.

Why do we talk to ourselves, and not talk to the Good Lord about these things?

I’m going to have this conversation, whether I want to or not, why not have it with God?

Why not redirect those worthless conversations with myself and have fulfilling ones with the Almighty instead?

So, I did.

Now, it’s Lord, we need to get up, we have to take out dinner, oh and Lord don’t let me forget the bank, etc…

I was pleasantly surprised by the improvements in my life :)

God Bless you :)

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him. –Nahum 1:7

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. –1 Peter 1:4-5

Who by Him do believe in God, that raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. –1 Peter 1:21
