For this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. –Matthew 26:28

And He went a little farther, and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me: nevertheless not as I will, but as Thou wilt. –Matthew 26:39

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

    1. Amen, and praise God. I love it Jo Ann!! Please write us a blog on it, because I had never thought about it honestly, and now I am curious hehehe. I googled it but I trust you more than the pages of google results, that ALL seemed to vary on what the difference is on covenant and testament :):):):) Or post it here in my comments if you want, whatever is convenient, if it’s convenient hahaha I am over here going, “just write a post about it” hahaha like you have nothing else to do. :):):) OOORRRR please pray God will reveal it to me :):) that’s what I did before I googled it ;):)

  1. Jesus suffered so much for us and every year church attendance in our country is declining. We are called to share His Good News and not just be Sunday Christians inside the walls of our church! The storm really showed who walks and works their walk of faith and those who are mere pretenders! Thank you!

    1. Amen Rick. We should be shining God’s light. When people look at us they should be drawn like a moth to a flame so we can love them, and God can reveal Himself, in a way people see Him. They will want that Love, His Love. Then no storms, no struggles are too great because 1. God is always there handling it, if we get out of the way. 2. When we can’t see #1, God’s uses His other children to help us see #1. Always trying to get us to see #1.

Jesus suffered everything for us Rick. I just mention this verse in a comment but the verse before one of the ones I posted said, Jesus said, His soul is exceeding sorrowful. Jesus suffered so much, because He felt EVERYTHING we feel, have felt, will feel.

God Bless you Rick, and thank you for sharing your knowledge, and insight. It’s always a blessing to see you because you shine with Gods love.

    1. Jesus really did practice what He preached, didn’t He? He is the only perfect example, in every situation, all the while being humble, saying there is only One that is good, and that is God. Perfect submission of will even though in the verse before, Matthew 26:38, “Then saith He unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with Me.” To me “My soul is exceeding sorrowful” sounds pretty miserable, and yet the perfect example of “not as I will but Thou wilt” I love Jesus. :):):)
