Why so gloomy ? Where is thy faith ? The Lord is with us.

Amen Chris :) That’s why all the scripture is important. Not just the warm fuzzy ones :):) It tells us there will be days like this but like you said, “the Lord is with us”

When I have days like this, I think of Job and think of the conversation between God and Devil at the moment.

Well, Job had his moments! He was only human as we are. God understands and watches us to go through that and waits for us to turn around to look at him. :-)

Thank you, Margaret! God blessed me with all kind of suffering in my life. Poverty in childhood, 10 years of emotional suffering in my first marriage. Separation with my daughter for 5 years, stage 4 cancer, and other little things. It did make me think about life a lot. God is good in the end!! :-)

His Light shines through you, that is for sure. All the things you listed and yet you are not the victim, but the Victor. All the while you give Him the glory. :):) You are His sweet beloved child :):)

Thank you, Margaret. I think reading the Bible in my early Christian teenage and memorized some scriptures carried me through those times, knowing that God is true and His love is everlasting. Thank you for your comment!!
