Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God. Leviticus 25:17

Forget not the voice of Thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against Thee increaseth continually. –Psalms 74:23

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

    1. Sadly, this is true. God tells us to love each other, not judge, not hold down, not dampen His Light that we should shine for all the world to see, and be drawn to. Praying for the blessed day He returns. God bless you, and again thank you for taking the time to visit and share :):)

    1. If we do good, we get good. If we do bad, we get bad. If we do fair to middling, we get fair to middling :) I’m praying for good :):) but still a work in progress over here. Still on the Almighty’s pottery wheel :) I appreciate you visiting and sharing with me, Joseph :):) God Bless you :)

  1. And I thought it was just buddhists who were confusing. Ok God which is it? Don’t be afraid or pay attention because the enemies won’t stop coming? Sigh… haha. I think there’s a rule about faith being a treasure map full of riddles as opposed to a cookie recipe. Add a fourth cup of water and your life will be sweet. No such luck. Haha.
Hi Margaret! How are you? Did you have a good holiday? We’ve been traveling through the desert with no wifi so I’ve barely kept up with blog reading. The desert makes you think. So happy to be on our final day of travel heading home. Cheers my friend :)

    1. hahaha God Bless you E :):) I am not a translator of all things Bible but I think the first one is telling us not to oppress, the next is saying, ok Lord, I’m not going to oppress, like You told me to BUT Your enemies over here are growing by the day, get them. :):):) I am sure there is someone out there who can do a much better job of paraphrasing that :):) I do feel though we will be learning until the day we die, as far as the Lord is concerned. Hence why we are all “children/child of God” and not “adults of God” ;):) Or at least I haven’t heard of any “adults of God” ;)

Yes, the holiday was fabulous, quiet, stress-less. It was a blessing. Oh wow, a trip into the desert. Sounds fun :):) The blogs will be here when you get back, so no worries on that. What desert did you go to, if you don’t mind me asking, and it won’t give away any secrets hehehe. Safe travels.

      1. I think your interpretation is spot on Margaret. One of the many things I love about the Bible is that it truly is a living word. I’ve had the same Bible since I was 15 and have taken notes and underlined passages with dates over the years. Like a Cat Stevens song, the words have new meaning in different seasons of life. It’s kind of amazing. :) And yes, we will be learning for life as His children. I love that; we’re not ‘adults of God’. So good. Hmmm..
Glad you had a stress free, fabulous holiday. We drove through Arizona and Nevada to go see my husband’s family. It’s a trip he’s wanted to take for years but the time had to be right. Talk about blessing: dry roads and perfect weather! All the amens for safe travel. I’d never seen those parts of the country before and it was amazing. My inspiration tank is overflowing. Happy Monday (mourning haha) my friend. ❤️

      2. Yes, the verses are the same but seeing them is different. I read my Bible all the way through each year, but it never fails, I will read a verse and, kid you not, I feel like I never saw it before. Had to, its been there for centuries lol. Then there are verses that make no sense, and then ah-ha, it sinks in. God is good to feed us the morsels we need.

Adult of God, like that did ya? :):)

The trip sounds wonderful, and like it was a perfect time, weather wise. It’s always nice to see God’s beautiful artwork that you haven’t seen before :):) I pray the family was well.

So happy to see you back. :):)
