Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. –Romans 15:2

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. –Romans 15:4

Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. –Romans 15:7

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

      1. Too late LOL I didn’t realize I could do it right there, in your comments :):)I thought there would be some copy and pasting, and award badges to do, and that would take me until at least tomorrow since it is late :):) When I clicked over to start all the said above steps, I saw it could be done in the comments, so I already did it :):) If you would like I can also do it on my blog. I am happy to oblige you in any way you’d like :):)

  1. We live in a retirement community. We each have a small cottage home. Our neighbors have moved in the house next to us have lived here for about a year. It’s really hard to please them. One of them is a huge bully. In the year they have lived here she has driven away at least three other residents.

    1. Here’s the way I feel about that Jo Ann. My son and I had a simailar conversation about how some of our neighbours seem to want to make it impossible to love. We know that “neighbour” isn’t just the folks next door. Every person we met is our neighbour/brethren. So does that mean we don’t pray for the ones(right next door) that seem to want to persecute us, no we pray harder for them, we still help them. Then we focus on all the other “neighbours” on this earth. If not then we are just letting those “neighbours” steal our joy, and diminish the good work that God wants us to do. I’m praying for your hard to please neighbours, that God soften their hearts, and helps them become the neighbours He wants them to be :):)

      1. Yes, after I wrote my comment, I was convicted to pray for them. I have been doing so since then. I’m not a very gregarious person, so I don’t usually go up to others. But I to trip try to always have a smile on my face. We know that the smile can make all the difference!

      2. Amen Jo Ann! God is good. He knew what you needed and let you know. They might be the way they are because it’s the only way they know to interact. Maybe they feel unloved, or less than, and think every one else sees them that way to, so they act out. Maybe no one has ever been kind to them, or prayed for them. Your prayer for them, and that beautiful smile will do more for them than you will probably ever know. God Bless you, and hallelujah this is a blessing. I am thankful you took the time to come back and share it with me :):):)
