The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. — Psalms 116:3-5

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. — 2 Corinthians 6:16

And I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. — 2 Corinthians 6:18

      1. Well, the fact that you were going to check means a lot. This happnens to me about every six months. I get so busy with work and “real” life that I sort of get behind. I expect to start posting again Monday. Meanwhile, am reading and talking.

  1. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,  Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;  Looking for that blessed hope,
and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;  Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
