Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; Him shalt thou serve, and to Him shalt thou cleave, and swear by His name. — Deuteronomy 10:20

So shall I keep Thy law continually for ever and ever. — Psalms 119:44

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. — Galatians 1:10

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me. — Galatians 2:20

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

      1. Definitely. These are not what I call β€œbaby food” verses! God holds us accountable, and His standards are (righteously) high. In today’s world, it seems that people can be so casual about God, forgetting His holiness and righteousness. Verses like these remind me what a great God we serve. ✝️
