For ever, O LORD, Thy word is settled in heaven. — Psalms 119:89

For by grace ye are saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. — Ephesians 2:8-9

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

  1. i am nothing without Him. He is the Great I AM. without His Word we can have no faith. Interesting but faith is both a gift to us from God and a fruit of the Holy Spirit’s working in our life. He is our teacher, our way to life abundant, our healer, our righteousness, our blessed hope. In Him we are one with the saints who have gone before us. Thank you Lord for your word and it’s impact on our faith. It’s good to associate with those who love Him and His Word.

      1. My son is 28 now. He says I was the best mom ever but I was so busy, so stressed, so overwhelmed with the panic/anxiety that I was hiding, he certainly didn’t get all he deserved. He is kind and says what good children will say but I’ve asked God to heal him of all the “lack” So pray God heals my son of any thing he may have suffered because of my HUGE short comings :):):) thank you my friend for all your love and support. Big hugs and much love back to you :):)

      2. My three sons are in their early 20s now living away from home. When they came home for Christmas, I was amazed at how kind and considerate they are with people around them and to each other. I’m not telling you this to get pats on the back for parenting. I’m telling you this because my boys learned empathy while living with a mom with chronic pain. They are turning out ok because of God’s grace in spite of me. Don’t beat yourself up and I pray that you and your son will continue to seek out the ultimate Healer.

      3. I didn’t take it as a pat on the back at all. You are correct it is me that does the beating up on myself because my son is so kind, loving, and respectful. Not just to me but every one. He always hugging me, telling me he loves me, he is just a blessing all around. Probably why I feel like he deserved more. I so appreciate you taking the time to give me such a kind, and encouraging comment. God bless you, and your children. Sounds like you did a great job :):)
