For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red sea, which He dried up from before us, until we were gone over: — Joshua 4:24

That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever. — Joshua 4:25

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 1 Timothy 1:15

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

  1. I love that scripture verse in 1 Timothy 1:15. Paul was so sincere. A great way of saying “you need to be saved… I was terrible too but He saved me”.

    1. Amen Sister, and He provides us so many opportunities to proclaim Him to others. He came up in conversation today in the grocery store. I met another one of our sisters in the store, and although we were perfect strangers,it wasn’t long before God presented the opportunity for me to share a blessing. We talked for a good bit before hugging, and promising we’d pray for each other. I was so happy, God is so good.

  2. Margaret, it is amazing how much He did for us while we were yet sinners. He told Israel that it was not for their righteousness that He was giving them the land, but for the immorality of those who had possessed it before them. We should never take for granted what Jesus has done because of His Great love for us. You always post great stuff.

    1. It’s a sure thing Jerry when it comes right out the Good Book ;):) Best seller every time :):):) I love the Old Testament for it always shows us the Almighty power of the Almighty. It shows us over and over His love for us, and His willingness to save us over and over, if we will just act right, and ask Him. I love that it also puts the fear of God into me, the things that God could do to us, as examples in the Old Testament. That fear of His might, makes me appreciate the Saviour He sent to us through Jesus. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us Jerry, they are always welcome. God Bless you :)
