In the day when I cried Thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul. — Psalms 138:3

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And shall they turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. — 2 Timothy 4:3-4

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

  1. Thank you for sharing this piece–it is raw and honest.
In all honesty, I can’t explain the feelings I have upon reading these words. I don’t know why this has stirred so much emotion, but it is raw and honest.

    Wishing you well xx

    1. I don’t know why either but I love it when that happens because it usually means God is getting ready to reveal something to me. I pray this is the case with you because there aren’t many things that are as exciting as revelations from the Almighty. This has blessed me, thank you for sharing what you felt :):):) Lord I pray you keep speaking to your beloved child through Your Word, and stirring her emotions about this verse, and reveal to her the reason this verse stirred such emotions for her. Teach her the lesson You want her to learn. In Jesus Name I pray, and God thank you for hearing my prayer and answering it. I love you Lord. Amen. :):):):)

  2. That’s a profound truth!
    You know something?
Those with itching ears aren’t limited to health and wealth types.
Itching ears also heap unto themselves works righteousness teachers whereupon their pride lets them look down on others who profess Christ.

    Lord bless you sister. 😀
