The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. — Ecclesiastes 1:9

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

  1. There are not enough in this World that believe in God. I was so appalled at some of the most disgusting things said regarding the death of Billy Graham, who was such a good man and spread the word. His reward is in Heaven.

    1. Sadly that is true. I don’t know what people do without God. I’ve always believed but when I was younger, I didn’t live the way God would want me to, and I was miserable, past miserable. I can only imagine what ones who don’t believe are going through. That same misery, and hence why they do what they do. They are warring with God Almighty. That’s a terrible place to be, and a battle that cannot be won. I imagine, they target people and things like Mr. Graham because they can’t really admit they are fighting God, something they claim to not believe in, can they?

      1. I was brought up Catholic and educated in Catholic Schools. The hypocrisy of my mother and sister and what they did to me and then they would go to Mass and receive Holy Communion made me sick. I lost my faith in the Catholic Church but not God, Never God. I was a loner as a child, still am in many ways but I never feel lonely I know God is there with me. I could never imagine not believing in God. I do believe that some of us suffer in our own ways in this life, but we will be so happy in the next. Sorry, shouldn’t prattle on.

      2. Please don’t be sorry. You can say anything you like here. I don’t even know what prattle is hehehe BUT I will look it up. Now that I looked it up, you did not prattle at all. This blog and it’s comments are open for anyone who wants to share. I have never deleted a comment, or not approved one unless the person who made the comment asked me to :):) Or it was spam that slipped through. Now THAT was a prattle :):):)

I don’t have much faith in any churches, not because I don’t believe they are God’s house but because they are full of “man” :):) It grieved God’s heart that He made us, I think that was in chapter 6 of the Bible. So, yes the hypocrisy is real. Yes, God never promised us all rainbows, and lollipops, this world is full of evil, and it rains on the just and the unjust. But we can count on His promise of eternal happy life, where we will not be sad, or sick, and no one will be mean to us anymore.
