I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of My mouth. — Revelations 3:15-16

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. — Revelation 3:19

      1. Margaret you are right. The cold ones are a puzzle, but perhaps it is because those who are lukewarm had to have had some heat in the first place. They have heard and it just doesnโ€™t mean the same thing anymore. Is it possible that one cannot really return to the cold state once the heat of the Spirits conviction is applied, and their time perhaps is still future? Could that be it? Iโ€™m not sure.

      2. I’m not sure either Brother. What you are saying makes sense. It was given to the lukewarm person, or they wouldn’t be lukewarm. But they snub their nose at God, so to speak. Hence whey they are not “hot” anymore, even though they know better. Maybe it is the conviction of it. If you are cold, you are firm in your belief. If you are hot, you are firm in your belief. Lukewarm means you are not really firm in anything, although you know better. God will reveal it when I am ready to digest it, He always does.
