Rules:
Thank the person who nominated you.
Post a quote for three consecutive days (1 quote for each day).

Nominate 3 different bloggers for each day.

Quote for day one:

“And to man He said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. — Job 28:28

Why I like this quote:

Because the LORD lays it all out here doesn’t He? Everyone wants wisdom, and understanding, well God is telling us right in these words how to achieve that :):) It’s not in some long theology book, or paper, it’s right here in a really short simple sentence :):)

As always, if you want to participate, then you are nominated :):)

God, I ask You to bless everyone who is reading this :):)

Quote Challenge day 3

Carly at My Ink Smears nominated me for the Quote Challenge day 1. Here is Carly’s Quote Challenge day 2, and her Quote Challenge day 3. Carly has a wonderful blog and if you haven’t had a chance to meet Carly, I pray you will stop over at her blog. Carly writes about her faith, and life. There is always something good to read there.

Quote for day three:

“Then said the LORD, Doest thou well to be angry?” Jonah 4:4

Why I like this quote:

I love this quote because it can be used everyday, or at least for me. God is telling me what does this anger accomplish for me? Is it helping me? Is it making things better for me? Is it doing me any good to be angry? The answer is always no, it does none of those things for me. Do I get angry? Lots of times, more than I should, and very angry but it does not do me well to be so :):) As always, God is right :)

Of course, if you want to participate, then you are nominated :):)

God, I ask You to bless everyone who is reading this :):)

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? — Mark 8:36

Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? — Mark 8:37

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when He cometh in the glory of His Father with the holy angels. — Mark 8:38

Quote for day two:

“And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou Me good? there is none good but One, that is, God.” Mark 10:18

Why I like this quote:

This quote from Jesus always gives me hope that if Jesus is saying that there is none good, not even Him (and He was perfect) but only God is the only One that is good, then there is hope for me. That I am not expected to be perfect, that I am still worthy even though I am not “good”

As always, if you want to participate, then you are nominated :):)

God, I ask You to bless everyone who is reading this :):)

And He said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. — Mark 7:9

Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye. — Mark 7:13

Quote for day one:

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9

Why I like this quote:

Because the key to my salvation is within this quote. God laid it out simple, and easy to understand. No matter what the world tells me, that is required for me to be saved, this quote tells me EXACTLY what I need to be saved :):)

As always, if you want to participate, then you are nominated :):)

God, I ask You to bless everyone who is reading this :):)
