One Lovely Blog Award

Our Little Red House nominated me for the One Lovely Blog Award which I was slack in doing in a timely manner, so I do apologize for that :):) Better late than never, right?

If you haven’t been to Our Little Red House you are missing out. She writes the most interesting stories about their little read house, of course, but also about crafts, family, chickens hahaha, yes chickens, you will have to check it out and see what I am talking about. Our Little Red House is just a good, fun, honest place to spend a some time reading.

Rules for lovely blog award:

Thank the person who nominated you and link their blog in your post.
Include the rules and the blog award image in your post.

  2. I am royalty. What? You didn’t know that? So are you since we are the children of God, and brothers and sisters to the Saviour of the world :):):)
  3. Tiramisu is my favourite dessert

    1. Congratulations on your award. I love being at home, and almost put that as one of my answers hahaha. The same with when people are coming, and no matter how much prep I do, I always say, pardon the house, which they always reply, it’s spotless. Then of course I think, is it, or is that just what people are suppose to say hahaha Too funny about your best friend but all’s well that ends well. :):)

      1. πŸ˜ŠπŸ’— I think its a jewel in our crowns that we pour such love and effort into providing the best to our visitors. Hospitality is becoming a lost art and virtue. So glad Im not the only one! Lol

    1. Thank you Angela :):) I try to bring it up as much as possible. It’s like a positive visualization thing hehehe. Especially when I haven’t had it in a while, and sadly it’s been too long since I’ve had it so I need to talk it up :):);) I’ll be in town tomorrow, hopefully the bakery will have some :):):) send me those positive “the bakery will have tiramisu” visualizations Angela :):):) I loved your post on alchohol by the way. It was well written, great points, and not judgemental. I thank God for always blessing you :):)

    1. Hahaha I, once, had someone chastise me for doing that, I told them how I feel. Most of my friends are older than me, and when milestone birthdays roll around they’d be sad. By adding the year I’ve never ran into that issue because I’ve been that age a whole year already :):):) I thank God for always blessing you dear Gail :):):)

    1. Thank you my friend, Mr Devane :):):) I was so happy to see a post from you, alas it was a trick, you posted something from someone else hahaha I enjoyed it though so thanks for sharing it.

Oh my, Buffy, first time I cut my hair, I was in full panic mode, shaking , sweating, heart…well you know what I mean :):) but it turned out good, and now you are so right, it is liberating. It’s always so good seeing you. I ask God to Bless you :):):)

      1. Ahh well you’re welcome, my friend… I’ve not had the inclination (or ability) to write at all recently. But never mind!
Haha and yes, I DO know what you mean… I nearly gave up halfway thru the first time! I’ve only made two big β€œmistakes” in the six years I’ve done it, luckily, and they were elementary. Phew! I’m glad you find it liberating, too.
        God Bless you, too. :) :) :)

      2. I wasn’t complaining, although I love your writing. It’s just good to see you pop up. I am happy with that :):)

Hhahahaha I sat there with the scissors, hair in hand, staring into the mirror for what seemed like FOREVER. Finally I started giving myself the good old, “what is wrong with you, JUST DO IT ALREADY, you big baby” pep talk hahaha. Afterwards I had to shower. Not only to get all the hair off me but I was drenched with sweat LOL :):):) And you know what my friend, if you make a mistake, it’s better than going to someone who cuts hair, who you have to PAY when they make mistakes :):):)

      3. You’re most kind. :) For my part I’m happy to pop up on WordPress when I can. :)

Haha well you were MOST brave! And I hear you. For me, using an electric hair trimmer on the back of the neck was the part that caused me to nearly faint(!) LOTS of opportunity to go wrong, there.
Aaah now isn’t that true about the payment? That might even be a metaphor for taking responsibility for ourselves. ;) :)
