Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. — Matthew 24:42

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. — Matthew 24:44

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

    1. Ya!!! I’m looking forward to it. I’m on to Mark now. I’ve had post scheduled ahead since the first of the year when I got sick. I couldn’t post but still read my Bible, wrote down the verses. When I could, I typed up the verses, and have been ahead ever since :):);) God is good and uses all things! <3

      1. Amen! He is great all the time! I look forward to those verses, but I am loving those Matthew verses for although they’re a nourishment to my soul, they basically serves as reminders in these last days.

  2. Interesting we will know not the hour, but we are to watch and be ready for it?
Sounds like it will not be imminent until there is something to watch for. For you are not in darkness that that Day will surprise you like a thief. But it’s an hour that apparently most will think not. What most seem to think is that it’s imminent — could happen before you finish reading this; and there are no signs needed to watch for before it. I wonder who will really be taken off guard by our Lords coming?

    1. Hahaha yes. The lesson of the day, Don’t get comfy, and think the Lord isn’t watching. I pray Jerry that everyone give thier life to the Lord and that every one will be prepared, on that day, in that hour, in that moment. Short of that, we just have to make sure we are always doing our best to be the children God wants us to be, and won’t be caught sleeping :):):) Always love your insight Jerry :):) I thank God for blessing you :)

      1. Of course post it!!! I thought it was God giving me a Divine Nudge when I read it, and was all happy. I love it when that happens! Anything that gets His Word out is a blessing to us all. I love the extra verses, and your words that you wrote. It was wonderful Brother :):)

Holding on to God through it all. It is a wonderful message. Of course, all your poems are wonderful :):) God has blessed you with a gift of words :):) I thank God for continuing to bless you :):);)
