Quote Challenge Day 1

Carly at My Ink Smears nominated me for the Quote Challenge day 1. Here is Carly’s Quote Challenge day 2, and her Quote Challenge day 3. Carly has a wonderful blog and if you haven’t had a chance to meet Carly, I pray you will stop over at her blog. Carly writes about her faith, and life. There is always something good to read there

Rules:
Thank the person who nominated you.
Post a quote for three consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
Share why this quote appeals so much to you.
Nominate 3 different bloggers for each day.

Quote for day one:

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9

Why I like this quote:

Because the key to my salvation is within this quote. God laid it out simple, and easy to understand. No matter what the world tells me, that is required for me to be saved, this quote tells me EXACTLY what I need to be saved :):)

As always, if you want to participate, then you are nominated :):)

God, I ask You to bless everyone who is reading this :):)

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

  2. Amen! Thank you Jesus for salvation! Mines will be Psalms 73:26 “My flesh and my heart faileth, but GOD is the strength of my heart and my portion FOREVER!” And why? Because daily we fail God and we need more of him continuously! Forever he is our strength and refuge! He’s our hiding place and whenever we slip he’s there to catch us when we fall to place us on higher grounds! <3 God bless!

    1. Yes we fleshy humans tend to complicate things. We find it hard to believe that if it’s that easy, it can’t be true, that there has to be more. So obviously we can look and create more but tuis verse lays it all out.Thank you LORD for continuing to bless my brother Lee :):)

  3. Yes, this is true. The Bible makes it very clear how to be saved. :) You can’t go wrong with that quote, Margaret, because it is the truth. And God designed it this way because He is a good Papa. He wishes no one to perish. (2 Peter 3:9. NASB). And thanks for all your kind words and partaking! God bless you, Margaret. :)

    Sincerely,

    Carly

  4. Congratulations! Lately in church we have been talking about the verses in Romans, and 10:9 is an amazing verse. It is probably my favorite verse in Romans!
