For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? — Mark 8:36
Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? — Mark 8:37
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when He cometh in the glory of His Father with the holy angels. — Mark 8:38
Amen! Mark 8:36 is a daily reminder.

Yes it is. 8:37 isn’t bad either. Seriously, what would anyone ever want to give in exchange for their soul??

Exactly! I can’t ever imagine selling my soul for what? A moment of pleasure? I like the path I’m on and I am content with life at the moment.

or a lifetime of pleasure. I am focused on the eternal. I want to spend eternity with God, just like He intended. I wouldn’t want to let Him or myself down. He created us all so He could spend eternity with us. How ungrateful would it be to give our soul for something as fleeting as this life :):)

The hardest thing I might ever learn to do in this life is living as Love in a world full of traps.

I know you can do it :):) You are a strong beloved child of the Almighty God. Those traps can’t catch you :):):) They might peek your curiosity :):):)
