ARISE, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. — Isaiah 60:1
Then drew near unto Him all the publicans and sinners for to hear Him. And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them. — Luke 15:1-2
THANK YOU, DEAR LORD, FOR RECEIVING me! <3 \o/

The Pharisees could never understand Jesus’s ways because they were blinded by pride.

But the sinners wanted to be near Him, and hear what He had to say. The others wanted to drown out His Word. Your Light is come but lets stifle, and shut Him up, don’t listen to Him. Move along folks nothing to see here :):)

Amazing how the sinners “drew near…to hear Him” but the ones who were suppose to be “God fearing” murmured about Him.
