For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. — 2 Corinthians 12:8-9

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. — 2 Corinthians 12:10

  1. Great verses, and I really appreciated your thoughts about people being kind to one another.
I know it’s a rule that I need frequent reminding of.

    1. Yes the verses are everything. We all have to be reminded daily Brother. It’s a hard thing to always be kind when we see people behaving outside what God’s Word tells us to act. I don’t even mean just what I think, or you think the logistics of it all should be. It’s the basic, love one another aspect we seem to keep struggling with.

  2. “For when I am weak, I am strong.”
Possibly one of my favorite verses. When I have a weak moment I always repeat that. I also love Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
Right now those two are my favorite verses. I’m sick right now and those remind me that in a few days, I’ll feel much better. God is my strength.

      1. LOL I don’t know but you can google it. I have been doing that for over a week. It has made for some great meals :) I just googled it and there are lots. The first that pop up of course are the sweets, breads, puddings, jams, sauces, pies…mmmm. But I bet if you kept scrolling there would be all kinds of delicious things to make. Find the ones that you have all the ingredients to,. There you go. Plum mystery solved ;)
