Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. — Hebrews 13:5

By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name. — Hebrews 13:15

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. — Hebrews 13:16

Why do we envy others, possessions and things, when we have all we need? Which is God. Never forget to praise God always, everyday, in everything because by doing so we are giving Him the sweet sacrifice that He loves.

      2. Perhaps. I know I am guilty of, not forgetting He knows better but it not being my first thought all the time. In other words jumping out there trying to do something myself, before putting on the brakes and just letting Him handle it. If that makes any sense :)

      3. I know exactly what you mean, as I many time find myself doing the same thing and only turning to Him as a last resort. At least now I try to lean on Him a little harder, and I’m trying to remember that He (God) is to be put first. He is so merciful, that He is still willing to pick us up when we fall.
