Blogger Recognition Award x 2 :)

I was nominated for this award by 2 wonderful bloggers, so instead of posting it twice I have combined them here.

Our Little Red House Blog nominated me for this Blogger Recognition Award.  And so did Gail over at Gail Loves God.  You can find Gail’s Blogger Recognition Award here. Thank you so much Our Little Red House and Gail :) Y’all  are so sweet to think of me, and I appreciate it very much :)

If you haven’t visited Our Little Red House, you are missing out on a wonderful blog full of delightful crafts, and stories. Go check out Our Little Red House and see what I mean.

If you haven’t visited Gail, you really should. Gail actually has 2 blogs, Gail Loves God and Gail Loves God Poetry (how she does it I don’t know, I can barely manage one blog) As both blog names suggest, you will find lots of God filled post, full of His love for us.

Award rules.

  1. Thank the blogger who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
  2. Write a post to show your award.
  3. Give a brief story of how your blog got started.
  4. Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.
  5. Select 15 other bloggers to nominate.
  6. Comment on each blog to let them know you nominated them and provide a link to your post.

My blog got started because I would text out Bible verses, and the list got to long :) Which isn’t a bad thing. I started the blog to make it easier. Thank You LORD for this blog that I consider Yours, and for all of Your children that You have blessed me with through it. Beloved children that I would have otherwise never met.

My advice would be:

  1. Be yourself, be honest, and be true.
  2. Enjoy it. Don’t let it be a chore but a blessing.

As always, I nominate anyone reading this who wants to participate. :)

LORD, I ask You to bless everyone who is reading this :)

  1. Congratulations on the nominations! Great advice too – I think it’s all too easy for blogging to become a chore, for it to turn incredibly stressful rather than be the enjoyable blessing that it likely started out as. A good point to keep in mind. Have a lovely Sunday, Margaret :)

    1. Absolutely Caz. I know when I first started this blog, it’s like you said it was a blessing, then for a short time, it seemed to overwhelm me. I ask the LORD, to keep me in line, to help me be grateful, and appreciate the blessing that it really is. I have met so many wonderful people from all over the world, such as yourself. I pray you have a wonderful Sunday, and week full of the blessings you deserve. LORD, thank You for Caz, and thank You for continuing to bless her :)

      1. You are such a sweet, compassionate soul. Thank you. I’m forever grateful to have ‘met’ you in the blogging world.
I, too, need to keep things in check with the overwhelm and stress from blogging and to remember the blessing that it really is.

    1. You are too kind Stuart. If you can give me until next Saturday the 17th, I will have it up and posted :) I like to keep the blog about God, it is His so I’ve limited tags and awards to once a week. Praise God, I feel so blessed thank you again :)

      1. Amen, praise God! Thank you Margaret! It has been an incredible walk with the Lord the last 22 years! I haven’t had any more angel encounters like that since 1998, but I know they are always with us. I never know what God might do! God bless!

      1. I’m right there in the dirt with you, Sister. But He adds a little of His spit, does a little molding, and then the Potter surprises even me! :) Love seeing what He’s doing with you too. Margaret!
