Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. — Haggai 1:6

I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to Me, saith the LORD. — Haggai 2:17

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. — 1 John 5:4

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? — 1 John 5:5

He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. — 1 John 5:12

The just LORD is in the midst thereof; He will not do iniquity: every morning doth He bring His judgment to light, He faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame. — Zephaniah 3:5

I said, Surely thou wilt fear Me, thou wilt receive instruction; so their dwelling should not be cut off, howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, and corrupted all their doings. — Zephaniah 3:7

The LORD is moving

Those of you who read this blog know I am not one who writes much. I post Bible verses. But I have been moved to write this because the LORD is moving.

Blogs I have been reading over the past few days, weeks even, and there are so many  good people that are under attack.

This is no coincidence.

God doesn’t do coincidences and neither does the evil one.

The devil doesn’t work this hard unless the tables are getting ready to turn on him, and he will do everything to stop that. He will use every evil trick  to destroy everything that you have. Your life, your family, your faith.

There have been so many that are struggling. I am not going to name names because quite frankly there are too many to list. I have been reading of death, job losses, financial difficulties, health issues, and on and on. Horrible blows, one after another.

These are not coincidences.

These are tricks the devil uses to create the stumbling blocks for the Children of God. Things to chisel away at our faith. It tells me that God is moving, not in a small way, and the devil is scared. He is doing everything he can to try and counter what the Almighty is doing.

Creating challenges, sadness, doubts, troubles, questions, heaviness of heart, hopelessness, fear. It is happening everywhere, to everyone. I have been experiencing them too.

But we have to stand strong, have faith, know that our God is the Almighty Creator of all that is, and all that is to come.

When we are weak He is strong. Hallelujah!!!!

Know, with all that you are, that you are God’s child. He is fighting for us. He will never give up, only we will give up. We are the only ones that can stand in the way.

We have to believe in Him as much as He believes in us.

I don’t know what you might be going through. I only know what I read. I know what I am going through. Never has there been so much, with so much magnitude, all at once. Hallelujah! When I see it happening all over, to everyone it tells me, the scriptures tell me, the devil is mounting his attacks for a reason. He is scared.

God is moving.

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be Saviour of the world. — 1 John 4:14

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. — 1 John 4:15

Stu loves God and sharing what God has done for him. He doesn’t sugar coat it. Stu is doing his best to help others not make the same mistakes he made. Stu is very honest and true in his writing. You will really enjoy Stu’s blog, and his journey.

Award rules.

  1. Thank the blogger who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
  2. Write a post to show your award.
  3. Give a brief story of how your blog got started.
  4. Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.
  5. Select 15 other bloggers to nominate.
  6. Comment on each blog to let them know you nominated them and provide a link to your post.

**everything after this point you read last week, as my answers haven’t changed :) **

My blog got started because I would text out Bible verses, and the list got to long :) Which isn’t a bad thing. I started the blog to make it easier. Thank You LORD for this blog that I consider Yours, and for all of Your children that You have blessed me with through it. Beloved children that I would have otherwise never met.

My advice would be:

  1. Be yourself, be honest, and be true.
  2. Enjoy it. Don’t let it be a chore but a blessing.

As always, I nominate anyone reading this who wants to participate. :)

LORD, I ask You to bless everyone who is reading this :)

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have and advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. — 1 John 2:1-2

But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. — 1 John 2:11

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. — 1 John 2:15

And this is the promise that He hath promised us, even eternal life. — 1 John 2:25

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. — 1 John 1:3

But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. — 1 John 1:7

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. — 1 John 1:9

O LORD, I have heard Thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive Thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. — Habakkuk 3:2

Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. — Habakkuk 3:18
