Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. — Proverbs 3:7

My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of His correction: — Proverbs 3:11

For whom the LORD loveth He correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. — Proverbs 3:12

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

  1. Good morning Margret. Loads of love from my far away place ❤️😘 I am always so encouraged by you and your posts. Yes we do need God’s correction… I mean we are his sons & daughters… Feels good though corrections are not always palatable but we do need the wake up call from time to time.

    1. Lots of love back at you dear Bisi. It is a blessing that the verses give you encouragement, as they should. Even the ones that are correctional gives us so much encouragement, as we know the LORD loves us, and cares for us enough to do this for us. He sets us up to succeed in this life while we wait for our eternal life with Him. I would be a messy mess without His corrections. LORD, thank You for Bisi, and for continuing to use her, and for blessing her. :)

    1. I know and it appears in God’s Word so much to fear the LORD. I hear people say that fear not is in the Bible 365 times and so we are to fear nothing. I am going to see if I can find out how many times it says to fear the LORD. Because it seems to get forgotten that He is the only thing we should fear.

      1. Amen, yes! I truly am so blessed by your sharing truth from God’s word. His scriptures are such a treasure to me and I don’t know where I’d be without them. Such a gift! 💖
