If you are familiar with all that is going on you can skip the links. If not please feel free to read all about it Praise the LORD y’all, and Feeling more than blessed and I need prayers please
If you are up to date then I will give you a short update as I am just to exhausted to do anything else.
After Dorian, the condo that God had so graciously blessed us with got flooded. So, we are back to square one. We are living in the building behind our house :) Praise the LORD. It is all that I know to do. I don’t know the why’s, or the reason for all of this but I know that the LORD has a huge blessing for us on the other side of this because the evil one doesn’t work this hard for nothing. He wants us to give up, to turn around , or to give into doubt.
I refuse.
Not trying to sound perfect. I have cried. I have been angry, frustrated, scared, soul searched. I have been through it all.
BUT I know that God is fighting for us, just like He fights for every one reading this.
I thank all of you for your prayers. I can’t wait to share what this blessing will be.
I thank God for blessing every one reading this. Amen.
“He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.”
-Psalm 91:15
Margaret, I am so sorry you are going through this. God sees everything. He knows you are human. Sometimes our complaining is crying out to God… and He hears it… and understands. The Psalm above is GOD speaking. He gave me this verse this week because He knew of my troubles, and He wanted my comfort to be His assurance that He hears, will answer, will be with me IN MY TROUBLE, will deliver me, and honor me!
He gave me this even with the knowledge of my own part in my troubles, and the part of those who placed trouble on me that I did not ask for. There are 54 other verses in Psalms alone regarding God knowing our troubles. The whole book of Psalms in David crying out to the Lord. Yet God saw it as David’s cries to Him. He called David a man after His own heart, and had David’s “cries” added to His Holy word as the book of Psalms… for you and me. Jesus Himself experience righteous anger.
Keep pouring your heart out to Him! He loves you so much, and wants to be the one to comfort you! <3

Thank you Sister for your kind encourament. It is always a blessing to hear from you :) God is the only way we can get through anything in this world, and like you said, He gives us the examples to go along with it. I pray what ever you are going through will come to an end soon. God loves you and wants you to succeed and be happy :)

Sweetie, I haven’t kept up with the details of your “story”, but I have seen the consistency of your faith that your God is a GOOD GOD – even when your circumstances AREN’T good. I pray that you’ll hold tight to that truth and that you’ll see God’s provision in technicolor. And don’t be ashamed of your feelings. It’s God who gave us feelings. And remember that even the Son of God himself felt the pain of feeling that his Father had abandoned him on the cross. He sees your tears. You are so loved, Margaret!

I’m praying for you right now.
A dear friend who is also going through overwhelming trials in her life, shared this scripture with me a couple of days ago. I have been pondering these words ever since:
Habakkuk 3:17-19
17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom,
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail,
and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.
19 The Lord God is my strength,
and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet,
and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.
Our God is so good, even when everything around us is falling apart. I have been through many tough trials in my life. God has brought something beautiful out of them all. Oh, but when the storm is raging, it can be hard to remember that!

So true, and I don’t know why it’s so hard to remember during the storm when God is so faithful and has always shown me that He will handle this. He always does. I love the verses, and it brings to mind be grateful in ALL things :) Good or bad, be grateful, for in the end it is all for His Good glory :) LORD, thank You for Linda, and for continuing to bless her :)

The word YET in verse 18 is the keyword. No matter what has happened and what will happen I will keep praising the LORD for His care and faithfulness every single day. And thank you for reminding and sharing.

Bless your heart, I know that you and your family are struggling.
Our daughter (a Christian also) went through a similar situation with hurricane Harvey.
She’s poor, with no resources to speak of, and her house had to be demolished. But God later provided another home for her.
Ecclesiastes 9.11 comes to mind:
“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”
I don’t know why stuff happens miss Margaret. It just does. But it’s not because y’all are bad or anything like that, stuff just happens to people.
I will pray for y’all, and please remember that God loves you.

Oh Mags. I’m so sorry your sanctuary got flooded. As the storm was brewing I thought of and prayed for you, wondering if you were in it’s path. You have my continued prayers. Take it easy . It’s frustrating and confusing when He gives us something great only to have it taken away. I don’t have the answers other than trusting there’s a purpose for all of it. Big hugs. ❤️

Hey baths in a bucket aren’t so bad hahaha ;) My hair is as long as yours, and I told hubby he was going to have to wash it with a hose in the back yard LOL. It will be fine. I know God has a plan. I don’t need to know what it is, and I don’t need to. He will make a way. He always does :) I hope all is good with you my friend :) How are you?

A garden hose! 😂 ugh. You have my sympathies. I had to shower outside in the winter at one of our rentals growing up. Not fun. Dear God, thanks for all these “character building” experiences. Glad you’ve got a sense of humor about it. That’s always helps. As for me, I’m feeling very grateful for my job, bed, food, clothes and all my faculties. Praying for an agent feels completely indulgent and selfish. 😊
LikeLiked by 1 person
No it’s not selfish or indulgent at all. The LORD says bring all your request to Him. ALL. He hears us, and He already knows what you want and need anyway, right? I feel, it would, in a way, be untruthful or deceitful if you didn’t pray for an agent. If that makes sense :) I also think that you have got to be one of the most unselfish or indulgent people ever :) Wrap your arms around yourself and give yourself a big huge hug from me :)

❤️ aww. My sweet friend. I’m sniffling. He does hear us and I’m praying He’s listening tonight while I ask for stability, comfort and peace for you. I’ve never believed God makes bad things happens but I do believe He makes all things come together for our good. (And there’ve been many times I’ve hated hearing that) Sometimes I wish there weren’t so many lessons cause as you know they can be exhausting but there’s always something that makes it worth it. Do you believe in God winks? Those little signs that say ‘I’m here. I see you. Here I AM.’ If so, I’ll be praying for those winks to find you this week; holy spirit shivers on speed dial. 😁

Yes, I believe in them. I had always call them hugs and kisses though. When I first heard of God winks, and asked what was meant by that, after they explained. I said oh hugs and kisses :)

Oh my Margret!! how absolutely horrible. This seems like a Spiritual exercise to strengthen you for what may be ahead. It reminds me of a hill that I have to climb while out walking, and every time I get to the top of that hill and should be satisfied—there is yet a shorter but steeper hill to climb. The Spiritual walk can certainly be a tough one at times, but the good news in all this, is that I believe as the climate changes (Matthew 24) a new beginning with our Savior is soon to come. I pray that God will give you His strength to face every battle that comes your way.

Praise the LORD Leola, and you are so very right. I think I realized that I am not fighting these battles, God is fighting these battles for me. For if not for the knowledge that He is here fighting for me, for all of us, there would be no strength to endure :) LORD, thank You for continuing to use and bless Leola :)

Thanks for the update Margaret. So sorry your world is in such turmoil. I have you in my daily prayers and I know God is there beside you. Sometimes that old evil one does not want to give up. It is frustrating and tears cleanse the soul. My mother always said – “This too, shall pass.” Love and hugs to you my friend.

You are so sweet Peggy it just makes me smile. Your Mom and I share that phrase. I think I even wrote a post and titled it “this too shall pass” hehehe :) The LORD is Good. He never leaves us, and we might not understand. And probably for good reason in my case. If I understood, I’d want to jump right in and help the Almighty Creator of everything, like He needs my help, and for sure mess it all up hehehe :) LORD, thank You for Peggy, and for continuing to bless her :)

Oh Margaret! Bless your heart!! I am so sorry you’re going through all of this! Dorian was one heck of a storm, leaving such a trail of devastation in its midst. My deepest sympathies are with you that it has touched your life as well.
Father, I lift up Margaret to you. Your Word promises us that you supply all of our needs according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. This is so much more than material possessions, but you know my sister needs these too! I praise you because you take what the enemy meant for harm and turn it around for her good. You are going to surpass her expectations beyond what she could have ever thought to ask you for. I ask you Lord to send your ministering spirits to her now. I ask you to wrap your loving arms around her and carry away any and all burdens, cares, worries, financial stresses or any other heavy weight by the blood of Jesus. I ask you Lord to open doors of opportunity for Margaret and pour out blessings she doesn’t have room enough to contain. I decree and declare mighty favor of the Lord falling on her now in the mighty name of Jesus. Though we don’t understand – weeping may endure for this night but JOY comes in the morning as you unveil ALL that you have for her. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
I love you dear Margaret and believe with you that breakthrough is here now, just waiting for your blessing to be unwrapped as the most perfect gift from your Father you’ve ever seen. All My Love! 💕 ~ Holly
