Because I just want peace…

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things. — Isaiah 45:7

I usually post the verses that won’t leave me alone. This is one of those verses. I didn’t post it. Why, I don’t know. But I want peace. And when the LORD wants me to do something, it is either do it or there will be no peace. So, here it is because I just want peace :) Praise the LORD,

  1. The Lord will honor your faithfulness in posting this verse, Margaret.

I have heard it explained as either the active (God causes it) or permissive (God allows it) will of God. Regardless, He is the final Arbiter of all people, places, things, and ideas, so either directly or indirectly He is the Source and Sustainer (or Deliverer and final Judge) of all things.

  2. Usually I find that most of us don’t like the hard things that God has to say….but He came as a meek Lamb before, but will return as a Lion. A Lion who will make everything right as He separate the good from the evil. We also have to believe in the power He has to discipline. He wants us all to be save, but many want no part of Him. We make our own choice either way. May God grant you His peace, now and always.

    1. Very true Leola. I always post the verses that won’t leave me alone but so many people say God doesn’t create evil and get very offended about it. Even so I don’t know why I didn’t just post it anyway. BUT the LORD gets what the LORD wants because He will give me no inner peace hahaha. I can talk myself out of anything but when it is Him, there will be no peace. Once I hit publish I had peace :)

      1. I too will shy away with hard verses not to upset others too much. I think there is a scripture where He says that He did not come to make people feel comfortable, or something like that. He is so awesome, He knows exactly what we need, what you need. Along with giving you peace, this is His way to strengthen you, to toughen you, to make you even more of a better witness for Him.
