Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but My salvation shall be for ever, and My righteousness shall not be abolished. — Isaiah 51:6
I, even I, am He that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; — Isaiah 51:12

Love the verses and the picture. What a lovely way to start the day. Thank you.

I like these verses Margaret—here again God is telling us exactly what will happen. The heavens will vanish and the earth will become like an old garment. This again speaks to me of the climate that we are in. But of course we know He is going to replace them with the everlasting!!

Amen and I was thinking about what you posted when I read the verses again this morning. It’s not a coincidence, since I know our LORD doesn’t do coincidences, that the verses I post are sometimes the ones I read a week or 2 ago. I started doing this a couple years ago instead of posting the verses I read each day because if something happened there would be no verses for that day. So I have them scheduled now. But here They are verses resonating what we were discussing just yesterday and today that I typed up a week or a 2 ago. And yes although God will be the One Who deconstructs what He created, what will come will be everlasting. Hallelujah :)

Amen to Everlasting!! Yes, it is so awesome the way God works. I see this sometimes with my posts also, and with those of others.
Sorry I took so long to respond to you.

Ah. I see that it is Margaret who is also in the book of Isaiah, not Lee. Still, wonderful verses all the same! :)

Isn’t it a wonderful book. Tomorrow is the telling of our wonderful Saviour. What a glorious prophesy it is, I had to type up the whole chapter. I just HAD to :) :)

Of course! That is a passage of Scripture where the entire chapter needs to be included, so thank you for sharing it. 🧡
