Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but My salvation shall be for ever, and My righteousness shall not be abolished. — Isaiah 51:6

I, even I, am He that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; — Isaiah 51:12

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

  1. I like these verses Margaret—here again God is telling us exactly what will happen. The heavens will vanish and the earth will become like an old garment. This again speaks to me of the climate that we are in. But of course we know He is going to replace them with the everlasting!!

    1. Amen and I was thinking about what you posted when I read the verses again this morning. It’s not a coincidence, since I know our LORD doesn’t do coincidences, that the verses I post are sometimes the ones I read a week or 2 ago. I started doing this a couple years ago instead of posting the verses I read each day because if something happened there would be no verses for that day. So I have them scheduled now. But here They are verses resonating what we were discussing just yesterday and today that I typed up a week or a 2 ago. And yes although God will be the One Who deconstructs what He created, what will come will be everlasting. Hallelujah :)
