In Him was life: and the life was the light of men. — John 1:4

And the light shineth in darkness; and the dark comprehended it not. — John 1:5

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. — John 1:9

He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. — John 1:10

But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: — John 1:12

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. — John 1:29
