It’s official…an update

I don’t feel like putting all the links back to the whole story of this all. Just go to the search bar on the blog and type in “update”, and you can read all that leads up to this.

I am officially moving to Texas. From there I will be traveling to only God knows where. And that is the best thing because He will pick all the best destinations.

I will keep posting verses, where there is wi-fi, and pictures from where I am. I am still here at “home for now” but as of the second week in January everything will pretty much be from Texas or where ever in this world the LORD is taking me.

We will be keeping our home here until we figure out all the details. I pray that y’all pray for me, as I have never been this far from where I was born, or lived my whole life.

Praise the LORD for all the blessings He bestows on us. By us I mean, me… you…and every one reading this post. I went from a demolished home, not knowing if my home would ever be livable to living half way across the country, and traveling the world.

God really does give us more that we can ever imagine.

LORD, thank you for blessing every one reading this :)

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

    1. I have been blessed with peace since we arrived dear friend. I was going through quit the bout of something before we left. I was physically every horrible thing imaginable. Dizzy, vertigo, nauseous and add anything else you can imagine. With God’s help, and that is the only thing it could have been because there were times I couldn’t tell up from down. In between these episodes, I’d catch enough time to pack up our stuff before being hit with another. It all got done, and by the day we were set to hit the road, thank God I was better. We are here in our new little apartment. In a new state, 1,300 miles from where I have lived all my life BUT there is peace. I could never have imagined that would be possible but again thank God there is peace. I feel at ease. Everything we brought fit :) :) and we are beginning to recognize our surroundings :)

      1. Oh, my Margaret, what you have gone through. It must have been the stress of it all, and as bad as it all was, when these things happen to me, I see it also that God is strengthening me, to face what may be before me. Keep hanging tight to the hem of His garment (as I know you will) and He will continue to see you through each battle. What I keep getting from the Holy Spirit for myself…is to keep looking forward to the “Hope” that is before me, and I find this thought to be very strengthening. I pray that your New Year will continue to be filled with Peace and Hope as you maintain your close connection with the Lord.

      2. What a beautiful, and encouraging testimony Leola :) Looking ahead is the best way to be. Looking over our shoulders will cause us to slip and fall. I don’t mean reflection. Everything that happens in life is for the glory of God. We will stay in the same spot until we learn the lesson He wants to teach us :) Thank you again for sharing your insight. It is so much appreciated :) I thank God for continuing to bless you :)

    1. I don’t know but we will be there next week! My house is full of boxes AGAIN. This is a feat for someone who moves into a house and stays for a decade or 2. I have packed and unpacked for the last 6 months LOL Hopefully, LORD willing this packing and unpacking will be the last for a good long while :) Except for the traveling this new job hubby has. It has promised world wide travel. Now, that is something I prayed for and can pack a bag for :) :)

      1. Maybe your blog will shift its focus ever so slightly โ€” a daily verse, plus an update on your life in Texas. I canโ€™t wait to hear all about it.

By the way, how is the rest of your family doing? I seem to recall that there was some sad news a few months back.

  1. May God richly bless you, as you trust in him. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your path straight. Prov 3:5-6. Will be praying…..

    1. I have never been that far across the country lol. Always been right here in NC. Ventured a few places but never out that far or out of the country. I appreciate your prayers my friend, they are worth everything. NC isn’t getting rid of me that easily. I just got my house finished, so It’s staying in the family for at least a year :)

And where in Texas are y’all moving to?

    (We live in Beaumont Texas)

That’s a big shift for y’all to move over here, but not to worry, we Texans are friendly and semi literate.
    We hicks welcome ya’ll. ๐Ÿค

And I will pray for you sister.

      1. I’m happy for y’all!
I know that it’s probably scary for y’all moving to an unfamiliar area, but Texans in general are very nice people. So try not to be too apprehensive about y’alls move.

And I’ve been to fort worth several times, and it’s a nice place. (I just now remembered that my dad was born in fort worth).
It’s the only city that I’m aware of that has two branches of the same interstate running through it.
        I 35 west and I 35 east.

Lord bless you and all of your family sister.

      2. I prayed for y’all this mornin.
You’ll do fine over here, don’t worry.

Pretty soon y’all will be Texans, and you’ll have a fun time getting to know the new area that God will give you to live in.

If I were up there in the DFW area, I’d go visit with Bob Christopher at basic gospel.
I’ve had so many visits with him, and I would love to have a face-to-face sit down with him.

God bless you and all of your family Margaret.

      3. Thank you so much Lee. Your prayers are worth everything. We will be headed there in less than 2 weeks to try and narrow down places to live. Then back here to pack it all up and head that way the first of the year.

I am looking forward to seeing everything. It certainly is a change for a small town lady, who has lived in the same little place for all my life but I know God puts us where He wants us to be, and I am grateful, and know He will lead. :)

    1. Thank you Sophie :) I remember talking with you a few months ago about the possibility of an opportunity in Italy and being able to travel a little around the immediate area. Now. It’s Texas and traveling around the world :) Goes to show, we have no idea what the future holds :)
