Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. — Hosea 4:1
By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood. — Hosea 4:2
Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away. — Hosea 4:3
I just realized that Hosea 4:3 kind of reminds me of Nebuchadnezzar’s predicament in Daniel 4. Not quite, but there. We have so much to learn in order to become truly humbled servants of the Most High.

Very nice comparison me love. It is quite the parallel. It shows again and again that no matter how patient the LORD is we will still make the same mistakes.

That is only too true as we’ve seen history repeat itself time after time again.

Hosea 4:1 strikes me as a necessary verse for all of America each and every day. I pray our nation will begin to find God’s path to truth, mercy, and knowledge.

A lot of lessons to be learned. Looking around at the times, we haven’t changed much.
