For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; — 1 Timothy 4:3

And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turn unto fables. — 1 Timothy 4:4

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

      1. ❤️ meh. I’m glad you’re well. I’m hanging in there. Our dog had a biopsy last week. I wish he was more spring chickeny, and that the whole world would settle down, aside from all that, life is sweet. 😁

      2. Awww I hope your puppy gets better soon, and that yes every one settles down. I am anxious enough without everyone losing it in every direction :) :) I had to make oatmeal cookies for goodness sake, and I have almost eaten all of them in just a few days. Which is not me. They keep for a good while and I will stretch them bad boys out otherwise it seems wasteful to gobble them down. :) I am thankful that I had gone to the store the week before all heck broke out. AND since I don’t like going to the store, AND from living in a hurricane prone area all my life, I always buy enough to last a few weeks. Thank goodness because the craziness would create more batches of cookies for sure :)

      3. Oatmeal cookies are full of fiber and minerals. I’m pretty my sure they count as vitamins 😁 I was thinking of you especially, knowing you’re just recovering from all the flooding. Ugh. My heart goes out to you and all those getting double whammys. Glad you’re all stocked up and safe. We’ll keep praying for peace and restoration; being the calm we hope to see in the world. Love you. ❤️🙏🏼

      4. Yes they are and so tasty :) Homemade is the best :) Vitamin D which is essential :) You were heavy on my mind too being where you are. I feel blessed in the midst of it all. We have no control things that happne but we can control how we act or in this case react. Love is the way to go. We are of one family, and need to be there for each other in times like these. Even if it is from 6 feet away :) Much love right back at you E :)

    1. Yes, and has been for years. I always found it telling that here the scriptures tell us that they’ll turn to fables. While for years non-believers say that is exactly what the Bible is, full of fables. I always drew a connection that some day that is the direction evil wants us all to go. To either believe in fables OR to believe it is all a fable :)

    1. Amen :) Yes all is well, and if it isn’t it’s still well :) How are things your way? I read your post and you are correct. There are things we have control over, and by that I mean I can cook meat to well done or just medium. And there are things we have none, like this situation we all find going on in the world. I can sit and wallow in it, come up with things to complain about or I can find ways to be positive.
