And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. — James 3:6

But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. — James 3:8

Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. — James 3:9

Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. — James 3:10

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

    1. It is such a lesson because although I don’t feel like I “curse” people my goodness I certainly will judge someone even though I can justify it by saying well I am not being “malicious” about it but wow I can certainly still be doing it. Even in a comment I made on your blog about people complaining like the Hebrews in the desert. Isn’t that judgement, and hence in a way cursing them? It certainly is a slippery slope to point out things others do, when who am I to judge, and if they were looking at me what would/could they point out. Isn’t this all in the category of blessing and cursing? I am asking the LORD to help me with this and give me the eyes to see and ears to hear what He wants me to to. :)
