Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of Thy ways. — Job 21:14
What is the Almighty, that we should serve Him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto Him? — Job 21;15
How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in His anger. — Job 21:17
His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty. — Job 21:20
So much to ponder in Job 21:15 and verse 17 is so poetic.

Yes it is me love. And 14 oh my who in the world would dare say this to God. The One that gives life, creates everything. The One who can create or destroy by speaking it to be so. Oh my my.

What I love about 14 is that it shows God’s ever patience and compassion with us, worthless mortals, for He could’ve easily strike down the person responsible for such unholy thoughts. This blasphemy is like a prelude to what Jesus would eventually go through when He was amongst mere mortals.

I just finished the book of Job this morning. It is such an excellent text.
The verses that you posted immediately brought to my mind Proverbs chapter 1.

Yes. I always think the Bible repeats things, or similar things because we are so hard headed :)
