Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. — Matthew 24:40
Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. — Matthew 24:41
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour you Lord doth come. — Matthew 24:42
Yes, Lord. Hearts forever fixed on Your return, tomorrow maybe too late!

God commanded Noah and his family to go into the ark. God shut the door. They remained. (Genesis 6:14)
The Flood. When the rains came and the water that came up from the earth all people perished. God took them away. Genesis 6:17)
Matthew 24:40,41
the one shall be taken, those that perished in the flood.
the other left, Noah and his family remained.
Those who were left are waiting for Lord Jesus. During tribulation God will pull them through these times.
The first eleven chapters of Genesis are the foundation of the Bible.
At times, by the grace of God, I can connect Bible verses together.

Praise the LORD for His grace and the abilities He gives us. Thank you Jackie for sharing that with us too. I see exactly what you are saying.

Thank you Margaret for your blog posts. I have to say they are truly a blessing to me.
The NT quotes the OT. Ponder when you read the NT. Try to think about events that happened in the OT. God does everything by the Book. Lord Jesus is saying “it is written”. Persons, events and, even objects do point to Lord Jesus Christ, to the NT and the time to come. Numbers in the Bible are important as well.
Links of my other blog. To show you what I mean.
This post is of a friend of mine who pointed out the importance of numbers. I intend to publish this topic also on the floral blog shortly.

These two posts are what God showed me.

About Noah. Eight persons went in the Ark, eight person came out of the Ark. The number eight in the Bible represents a new beginning.

Thank you for the links and the encouragement Jackie. I read your posts that you were kind enough to leave me the links to. I had not thought about the numbers like that.

Me neither. It was pointed out to me some years ago. So then I also started to draw my attention to numbers.

The Ark of Noah comes to mind. Does that make sense to you?

No it doesn’t but I am always so interested in your insight as you have so much knowledge and are able to connect the biblical dots so to speak. I always learn something so, I’d love to hear why. If you’d like to share :)
