And He went a little farther, and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me: nevertheless not as I will, but as Thou wilt— Matthew 26:39

And He cometh to the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with Me one hour? — Matthew 26:40

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. — Matthew 26:41

He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O My Father, if this cup may not pass away from Me, except I drink it, Thy will be done. — Matthew 26:42

And He came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy. — Matthew 26:43

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

    1. Awww Sophia thank you so much for your encouragement, and wonderful kindness. I would love to take credit for the post but it all goes to the LORD. His Words are a pleasure to share. Without His love and guidance where would we be:) Thank you so much for visiting with me and sharing your kind words, they are greatly appreciated. LORD, I ask that You bless Sophia :)

      1. Thank you so much for your prayer Margaret. I pray for your ministry and work to expand and that God will cause a supernatural acceleration of pending works to get accomplished…..be fruitful and multiply…and may you be replenished in areas that are weak….

    1. Yes He most certainly did Jackie. If it was me and they would have been asleep the first time I would have washed my hands with the lot of us.

This is also a great reminder to me when I get down on myself for being so, so far from being what I should that even the ones that were standing right in His prescience, could touch Him, still fell short.

      1. The struggle in Gethsemane, when the Father would have passed the cup Lord Jesus had to drink, the words “Whom seek ye?” would have never been spoken. Where would we have been? Because we all fall short.

But the three words were spoken and followed by the next three words “I Am He” the most powerful words. So powerful, the officers of the high priest all fell backwards.

Praise the LORD o my soul!
