All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils; — Job 27:3
My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit. — Job 27:4
For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul? — Job 27:8
I strive to be like Job 27:4.

I am better with the deceit than the wickedness part. I grumble and murmur not as bad as I use to but I will still do it sometimes :) Some people say that grumbling isn’t speaking wickedness but I feel it is. Anything that is not being grateful, and praise needs to be worked on :) God is good and helping me as He is so gracious to do with all of us :)

That’s me, too, me dearest and that’s why I’m rebuked every time I come across verses such as Job 27:4. I want to empty my mind and heart of every conceivable wickedness. I agree with you for I feel the very same way. Amen! May we continue to look towards Him as the Perfecter of our ways.

Boy that verse 8 is powerful ain’t it?
It’s one of those verses that you can’t help but stop and read twice.
Oh by the way, (I ain’t asked in a while).
How are y’all adjusting to Fort Worth?

Yes that verse will certainly, or at least I feel it should, make every one take pause, reflect, and then thank God :)
LOL ahhhh Fort Worth, well since we have pretty much been in quarantine since we got here, not because we are sick but because apparently it’s a hotspot. We’ve been staying in our apartment. Although I have been able to go to the grocery store hahaha :) :)

I pray for y’all, and I’m thankful that y’all ain’t sick miss Margaret.
I have driven to Fort worth, and have delivered there, and the one feature that stands out in my memory is how I-35 splits into an east and west column. I don’t know of anywhere else that an interstate highway does that.
I know that it must be monotonous for y’all being quarantined, but try to think of some good stuff. Like you get more time for God’s word and you ain’t stuck in traffic.
God bless you both.

I know nothing about I-35 as I will not be driving on it if at all possible :) :) Not an interstate person. Even if it takes me longer :)
We have been blessed and not been sick. Thanking God.
Amen on more time with God. We can all use that!
