When I consider Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, the moon, and the stars, which Thou hast ordained; — Psalm 8:3
What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that Thou visitest him? — Psalm 8:4
Oh LORD our Lord, how excellent is Thy name in all the earth! — Psalm 8:9
Sis, I LOVE these verses an awful lot! Psalm 8:3-4 are two of the very verses I learned to memorize early on. They’re poetic, beautiful, and just in awe of our Creator. David couldn’t have said it any better.

Psalms 19:1 comes to mind
(To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
The great and infinite God.

Amen sister!
I’m thankful for your posts miss Margaret.
And I especially appreciate that you post whatever you feel led to post, rather than what will get the most likes on your post.

Praise the LORD for HIs guidance. It is a blessing that they touch you Brother :)
I also learned very early when typing up the verses. I had better type the ones that I am led to or there will be no peace. :) I had to get out of bed one night and type up a verse to post because it had ate at me ALL day. There was going to be no sleep until it was typed up. Once it was done, there was peace, and I could sleep.
Once again thanks to God because without His hand pressing on me, I would have obviously went on about my business and NOT posted that verse :) Lesson learned, and I have posted whatever ones that won’t leave me alone. Some I think oh my, that one is quite sharp. But we need those too don’t we :)

We definitely need those too.
According to Jeremiah 26, the prophets who speak God’s peace to people who hate God, are false prophets.
The bible has plenty of sharp words, as well as pleasant words, therefore our representation of scripture should reflect scripture.
Good job sister in typing what God put on your heart, because someone needed those verses.

Yes :) We learn just as much from correction as we do from encouragement :)

I am doing well :) Catching up on blogs right now. I have been unable to do that for a few days, so apologies that I am just now getting to your comment. I love the recipe that you posted. NO surprise there since I love all the recipes that you post. In my defense though, you make them all so easy AND simple that its hard not to love them :) How are things with you? I know you were having one of “those” days when you posted the recipe but how are things going now?
