But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Hightest: for He is kind to the unthankful and to the evil. — Luke 6:35

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

    1. It certainly does work. It is not always my first go to reaction the loving my enemies part :) The LORD is good to grab me by the collar, and remind me though. It also feels so much better for us as well. We benefit from this just as much as our enemies or those that we lend or give to, etc :)

  1. I’m doing Scripture writing as part of my morning devotions and just did this verse. Such powerful words… another example of how we, as believers, are to live quite the opposite of what our flesh would naturally lead us to do.
