Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make Our abode with him. — John 14:23

Praying the world will read God's Word for themselves, and not rely on what someone else tells them His Word says or means.

      1. me too. There is so much changed and left out in other versions. I had no idea until I sent out verses one morning and someone text me back and said their Bible didn’t say that. I thought well let me look up their Bible and see. It wasn’t a “todays wording so you can understand” difference. It was night and day difference. Then I’d even get “my Bible doesn’t have that chapter and verse. What? Doesn’t have that chapter and verse? Sure enough there are Bible translations that omitted complete chapters. I have been told that it’s because it is repetitive. Well, maybe the Creator of all that is, was, and will ever be thought we needed to read it more than once. We are a hard headed, stiffnecked lot. My thinking is, well, what else has been omitted? Then words that are changed in one section because “they didn’t have a word for it back then” but that same word is used in several other places in that Bible. ?????

Of course. It is God’s perfect way of doing things.
Job 33:14. For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not

Deuteronomy 17:5 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

        Matthew 18:16
But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

        2Corinthians 13:1.
This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

Isaiah 28:13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

God does everything by the Book. Isn’t Lord Jesus saying: “It is written” What happened in Biblical times will also happen in the time to come. What happened to Israel will also apply to us.

This is God’s answer to all claims of those who favor the modern versions. That is why I believe, what I believe.

In my latest post of The Two Vines part 3, I provided several links to the modern versions versus the King James Bible. In other words, the lies of God’s adversary versus the Truth of Jesus Christ.

Margare, that most precious Book when we abide by it will be the strongest weapon ever. And with that strongest weapon, we are prepared.
