But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. — Matthew 6:7

That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, there there is none beside Me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. — Isaiah 45:6

I form the light, and create the darkness: I make peace, and create evil: the the LORD do all these things. — Isaiah 45:7

Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it. — Isaiah 35:8


But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. — Matthew 4:4

Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. — Matthew 4:7

Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and Him only shalt thou serve. — Matthew 4:10

I, even I, am the LORD; and beside Me there is no saviour. — Isaiah 43:11

Yea, before the day was am He; and there is none that can deliver out of My hand: I will work, and who shall let it? — Isaiah 43:13
