I really enjoy writing about Elsie.

It brings me great joy to know the struggles she went through. Even though she was unwilling to be grateful to God, do what He asked, which was so little, and accept the Help, only God could give her through Jesus, God never abandoned her.

A week or so ago, depending on when this gets published :) I experienced one of the worst panic/anxiety attacks I’ve had in years.

I was going about the daily routine but something was off.

It was familiar but foreign.

Later when I realized, ok, this is happening. Let’s see where we stand.

I took my heart rate…140…that can’t be right. Let’s calm our self, and let’s take it again, we should any way…132.

Ok, 132 is better, let’s make the third time a charm…136.

Yep, it’s full on…I’m not running a marathon, hiking a mountain, or even on the treadmill??? I’m just going through the daily motions of life.

I kept talking to the Lord through all this. He never abandoned me. Thank you God.

I know the steps…what comes next…control the breathing, important we don’t need to be hyperventilating ;) headache, nausea, vertigo, vomiting(sorry), days of physical recovery(sore muscles, joints, etc)

It’s rational. All the things you’d expect, your body to do if your heart is been beating 132-140 beats per minute, for HOURS…..:):):)

It’s another valley in life that has to be walked to get to the next blessing.

Yes, God can heal all of that, in that I have faith, and proof. But that depends on my faith, and it isn’t strong enough. It’s getting there because I’m not having these all day, everyday, anymore.

There’s my proof :)

My faith isn’t strong enough to move a mountain yet either :):) BUT, again, that’s a “me” issue, not God ;)

Which brings me back to the lecture at hand.

I love writing about Elsie, but I didn’t like the memories it dredged up, which caused my physical distress last week.

God has blessed me to not have this physical distress, that plagued me for decades, anymore.

I can be thankful for that and let that sleeping dog lay right where it is, or I can pick that scab, and keep digging at it, until I have a massive attack…hahaha. I can laugh now but when it was happening, it was anything but funny, and I swore never to write about Elsie again :):)

They say that every person will have 2 panic/anxiety attacks in their life.

The second attack is usually always, always caused by fear of having one again. They will avoid talking about, avoid where it happened, avoid situations that are similar to when it happened.

Me writing about Elsie is equal to that.

When I can, I will write about Elsie. When it won’t cause the physical reaction that comes along with it. If it was therapeutic, and needed to be talked out, then I would. As it stands, it’s already been beat to death, and is a dead issue. Now it is just a memory, like all the others, that I have.

Is it perfect? NO. Nothing is! When I become perfect, never mind … hahaha :) …we know that’s not happening ;):)

God Bless you :)

The just LORD is in the midst thereof; He will not do iniquity: every morning doth He bring His judgement to light, 20170516_141051He faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame. –Zephaniah 3:5

The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing. –Zephaniah 3:17

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. –John 1:9

And He is propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. –John 2:2

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

That is all God requires of us because He knows we are not capable of much, and He loves us enough to set us up for success.  That is all His Word says if we do this, we shalt be saved.

Everything that is in the Bible, all the rules that people dwell on, study, focus on, try to emulate, and that’s good, we should learn God’s Word…but ALL mean nothing, if, if, if we can’t grasp the full extent of Romans 10:9

Nothing else can save you, nothing.

The only thing, that will save you, God said:

  1. to confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus,
  2. believe it in thine heart that God raised Jesus from the dead.

THOU SHALT BE SAVED. Romans 10:9. Hallelujah!

God doesn’t lie.

If we go ask the One, that we are to confess, our Saviour, our Mediator, that we killed/sacrificed,  and God raised Him back from the dead. Thank you Jesus for Your love for us.

We certainly need it. Thank you God.

Jesus says, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment. Matthew 22:37-38

If you’ve made it this far into this post, take a pause, and ask yourself, do you have these first 3 steps…what’s the word I’m looking for…. not perfected, because we know we will never be perfected.

Working? Would that be the right word? It doesn’t seem big enough. Nothing ever seems big enough when discussing the Almighty. :)

Do you have these 3 steps working, first nature, like blinking? Especially are you loving God:

with all thy heart….with all thy mind…with all thy soul…?

If not, keep practicing.

You can start practicing the last, and final step that the Word, Jesus, says we must, must, must do. I’m sighing here, because, now we have to deal with our neighbours/brothers/sisters. :):)

We have left the realm of the Almighty and us, and entered into the realm of every body elses free will.

After Jesus said, to love God with every fiber of your being, with every thought, with every breath, Jesus said:
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:39-40

Let’s sum up what is most important to God and Jesus according to Their Words:

  1. Confess Jesus
  2. Believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead
  3. love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
  4. Love your neighbour like you love yourself.

God will work out all the other details, if the 4 things listed above are being accomplished. In my case, trying to accomplish. I struggle with 3 and 4 :)

God Bless you :)
